Note: West Genesee has again bounced, this time back to the American Division. The placement of some schools is still in dispute. The dual meet schedule below is current and will be adjusted if necessary. Invitational meets are unlikely to change.

Wildcats XC Site Directions

Directions to Vernon-Verona-Sherrill XC(Invitational/2004 Section III Championship)_

Directions to Chenango Valley XC Invitational

·         Take I81 south toward Binghamton

·         Before Binghamton, take Chenango Bridge exit

·         At bottom of ramp, go left and 1/4 mile to four corners

·         At corners, turn left onto Rt. 11

·         Go ~1/2 mile and turn right onto 12A. School/XC course is 3/4 miles on 12A

Directions to Oswego XC Site(Oswego Middle School)

·         Take Rt. 48 North toward Oswego and drive through Fulton

·         3 miles past Minetto, as you approach Oswego, you will pass a golf course on your left. Just past golf course, turn left on to Munn Street.

·         Take Munn Street west to Murray Street.

·         Turn left on to Murray Street.

·         The Oswego middle school(XC site) is a short way down Murray.

Directions to Canastota Invitational Site(Verona Beach State Park)

·         Take NYS Thruway to Canastota Exit(Alternate: Rt 481 to Rt 298 to Rt 31--Bridgeport)

·         Take Rt. 13 North across Rt. 31(5-6miles)

·         About 2 miles past Rt. 31,  look for Verona Beach State Park entrance on your left

·         Enter Park and find course

Directions to Marcus Whitman High School(Wildcat Invitational-state site)

·         New York Thruway west to Exit 42(Geneva/Rt. 14)

·         South on Rt. 14 into Geneva to Rts. 5/20

·         Take Rts. 5/20 west ~12 miles to Rt. 247

·         Take Rt. 247 south to Baldwin Road

·         Right on Baldwin Road, school campus is on your right

Directions to McQuaid Invitational(Genesee Valley Park)

·         Take NYS Thruway to Exit 45.

·         Follow 490 West to Rochester outskirts(about 10 miles), past Linden Ave. Exit

·         Keep right for “590” exit 21--the exit has two ramps; take left lane for “590 South”

·         Take 590 south to Elmwood Ave. exit(about 1 mile)

·         Take right onto Elmwood

·         About 3.5 miles down Elmwood you reach an underpass(U. of Rochester on right)

·         After underpass, turn right, then take another right in about 50 yards, then take 1st right across underpass bridge into a large U. of R. parking area.

·         Walk to the end of that parking area and take path off to right, which puts on road (going left)to the site(short walk)

Directions to CN-S XC Course at Oneida Shores Park

·         Take Rt. 81 North

·         Just before bridge over Oneida Lake, take exit for Bartell Road

·         At end of ramp, turn left onto Bartell Road

·         Follow Bartell Road for 2/2.5 miles to T intersection(DO NOT turn left into Oneida Shores beach area)

·         At intersection,  turn left, then take quick 1st right into park(sign for Arrowhead Lodge)

·         Follow roadway around to left and the Arrowhead Lodge parking lot on left

Directions to LeMoyne College

·         Take Camillus By-Pass to I690 East

·         I690 East to Exit 16(Thompson Road)

·         Right off exit ramp onto Tompson Road south

·         Cross Erie Blvd and go up hill to 1st right

·         Right onto Springfield Road

·         LeMoyne College Athletic Center and parking lot is 1/3 mile on your left

Directions to Proctor Park, Utica

• NYS Thruway east to Utica exit.

• Take Rt. 8 south into city(~ 2miles)

• Just as you enter downtown, turn right onto Rt. 5S

• Follow Rt. 5S for ~1.8 miles to exit for Culver Avenue

• Take Culver Avenue south

• Proctor Park is in 2 sections on your left. Go to second(further) section ~1mile.

Directions to E-SM site @ Pine Grove Jr. High

·         Take I690 east to I481 north

·         On I481 north, take first exit onto Kirkville Road east

·         At 1^st light,  go right onto Fremont Road

·         Take 1^st left into Pine Grove Jr. High

Directions to Utica-Tech College, Utica

·         NYS Thruway east to Exit 31

·         Exit onto North Genesee St.

·         After passing under thruway, follow signs for Rt. 49 West, turning right and then another quick right onto Rt. 49. Stay on Rt. 49 past turn-off for Rts. 5, 12, 8.

·         At next exit, exit north onto Edic Rd.

·         About 1/2 mile up Edic is the back entrance to Utica Tech. Turn right into exit.

·         Follow road up to campus and the  parking lot near Kunsela Hall.

Directions to Long Branch Park(Liverpool/L’pl Invit./OHSL Relays)

·         I690 West to exit 4(John Glenn Blvd.)

·         Immediately after getting on John Glenn going east, take 1st right onto VanVleck Rd., then bear left onto Long Branch Rd.

·         The Long Branch Park parking lot is about 3/4 mile on your left. The race area is right there.

Directions to Baldwinsville(B’ville Invitational)

·         I690 west to VanBuren exit. Take a right at the end of exit ramp.

·         Go about 2 miles to a light--go left.

·         Go about 2 miles into town of Baldwinsville.

·         Go through center of town and up hill.

·         Turn right onto Oneida Street.

·         Take 1st left into the High School/Middle School complex. Go beyond high school to Durgee Middle, the site of  the XC race.

Directions to Central Square High School

·         Interstate 81 North to Central Square/Rt. 49 exit

·         Go left at end of ramp, west on Rt. 49 into Central Square(~1.5 miles)

·         At town intersection, take left fork(not extreme left which is Rt. 11) onto Caughdenoy Rd.

·         ~1/2 mile down Caughdenoy Road, turn left into Central Square High School. (Walk past high school to get to XC course)

Directions to Auburn(Holland Stadium)

·         Route 5 west to Auburn

·         Look for the shopping plaza on your right/McDonalds on your left

·         Take a left at the next light(P& C will be on your right)

·         Go up hill 1 block and take a left onto Franklin Street

·         Up a 1/2 mile East Middle School and Cauyuga Community College will be your left. Park there

Directions to Henninger XC site(Sunnycrest Park)

 ·         I690 East to Teal Avenue Exit

·         At bottom of exit ramp, turn left onto Teal

·         Go up hill, through a light and turn right onto Robinson St.(Church on your right)

·         Henninger High School is 1/3 mile down the road with Sunnycrest Park behind the track.

Directions to Staley Jr High School(RFA XC/Invitational course)

·         Take NYS Thruway east to Exit 33(Verona)

·         Take Rt. 365 East 10 miles(toward Rome)

·         Follow signs for downtown Rome and Rt. 26 North(Rt. 26 North is Black River Blvd)

·         Follow Rt. 26 North to 5^th traffic light.

·         Turn right onto Bloomfield Street.

·         Staley Junior High is four blocks down on the right. (Fields are located behind the school)

Directions to Cato-Meridian High School

(Back way)

·         Rt. 5 West through Elbridge to Rt. 31C

·         Turn right onto Rt. 31C and take north through Jordan where it merges with Rt. 31

·         After passing under NYS Thruway, bear left onto Slab City Road

·         Follow Slab City Road to Bonta Bridge Road intersection

·         Turn right onto Bonta Bridge Road and follow all the way into village of  Meridian and Rt. 370

·         Turn left onto Rt. 370 West

·         Just past the village the high school is on your right

(Alternate Route)

·         I690 west to the Rt. 370 West exit

·         Take Rt. 370 west approximately 11 miles into and through village of Meridian

·         The high school is on your right

Directions to Weedsport Jr/Sr HS

·         Rt. 5 west through Elbridge to Rt. 31B(East Brutus Street)

·         Turn right onto Rt. 31B and drive 4-5 miles toward Weedsport

·         High school will be on your right(2821 E. Brutus St.)

Directions to Appleby Elementary School(Marathon Invitational)

Directions to Tully HS(Tully Invit./OHSL Championship)

 ·        Take I81 South to Tully exit

·        At end of exit ramp, turn left, go to intersection(100meters)

·        At intersection, turn left

·        ¾ miles on your right is Tully High School.

Directions to Jamesville Beach(CNY Coaches Invitational/Section III Championship)

• Take Rt. 173(Seneca Tpk) east into Jamesville.

• Just before railroad tracks, turn right onto South Street

• Take South Street, which becomes Apulia Rd, for ~1.5 miles to Jamesville Beach on your left.

Directions to Bowdoin Park, Poughkeepsie, NY(Section 1 Coaches Invitational/Federation Championship)

• New York Thruway east/south to exit #18(New Paltz/Poughkeepsie)

• Right after toll onto Rt. 299 East

• Follow Rt. 299 E for 5 miles to US Rt. 9

• Right onto US-9W, go ~2miles onto Rt. US 44

• Take ramp onto US-44 East toward Mid-Hudson Bridge

• Over bridge, take US-9 South toward Wappingers Fall/Hyde Park, go ~6.5 miles

• Bear right on Rt. 9D(W. Main St.), go .7 miles

• Turn right on Delavergne Avenue, go .9 miles

• Turn left on Sheafe Road, go .8 miles

• Arrive at 85 Sheafe Road(Bowdoin Park)

Directions to West Genesee XC Home Course(Camillus Middle School)

From East:

• Take I690 to Camillus By-Pass(Rt. 5)

• Take by-pass all the way to end(do no get off at Camillus exit)

• Go right onto Rt. 5 West

• At 1st light, turn right onto Ike Dixon Road

• Camillus Middle School is 1/3 mile on left

From West:

• Take Rt. 5 east to Ike Dixon Road(traffic light just past golf course)

• Turn left onto Ike Dixon Road

• Camillus Middle School is 1/3 mile on left
