Boys: The boys team got off to an impressive start, surprising several Sectional rivals with their 2nd place Large Schools effort. The solid 1-2 punch of Pat Gaffney/Jeff Dugan was backed by the solid races of Matt Winters, Rocco Paone, Ian Gilfillan and freshman Greg Allen.
Girls: The girls demonstrated that they will be a team to be reckoned with in the OHSL National Divisional race this season. Veterans Shannon Morris(sub 20:00), Kerry Banazek and Christina Phelan are backed by promising freshman newcomers Teresa Girolamo, Nina DiBattista and Ashley Plunkett.

Boys: The boys are off to a 1-1 start in dual meet competition. Lack of a total team effort hurt the boys against CNS. Pat Gaffney and Jeff Dugan ran strong up front, while the 'pack' the Wildcats needed didn't form close behind them, this despite several excellent individual efforts.
Girls: The girls 'ran smart' both up front with a 1-2 finish and with a following pack that outpaced the opposition in miles 2-3. With their dual victories, the girls extend their National Division winning streak to 9.

Boys: Good day for the boys, with a third place finish against state-wide quality competition. With three runners in top-25 and strong support #4-7, the boys are slowly putting together a tough team.
Girls: Excellent efforts by the 'young' runners of the team were offset by a disappointing lead runners effort. The girls still tied for 3rd but lost that position on the #6 runner tie-breaker. A delayed last-race-of-the-day, this one was mud-running at it's best.

Girls: Kerry Banazek took over the lead running duties for ill Shannon Morris as she outpaced all runners on a course shortened due to a 'bee problem' in the woods loop. The girls 'packed it in' for the dual wins, with solid efforts all around.

Boys: The boys team ran tough, besting one state top-20 team and running close to another. Their 0:51 1-5 gap was good for a big meet. They were rewarded with an Honorable Mention in the state top-20 'A' poll this week.
Girls: Running without #3 runner Teresa Girolamo, the girls staged an excellent effort and outdistanced #10 Liverpool while running very close to #5 Ithaca. An excellent total team effort characterized these Wildcats.

Boys: The boys gave it their best shot against the #7 state-ranked Liverpool Warriors. Despite a terrific front run by Pat Gaffney(2nd), the team was unable to break up the deep Liverpool pack. The Wildcats now stand at 4-2 in the National Division.
Girls: Despite nagging injuries and illness, the girls ran a 'gut race' to open the possibility next Wednesday for a second consecutive undefeated season and a National Division championship. Shannon Morris lead the way with an excellent first-place cruise. Nina DiBattista continues to improve and impress. Great gut races were registered by Kerry Banazek and Teresa Girolamo. The girls are currently ranked #11 in NYS Class A.

Boys: Lack of a team effort prevented a 'best-ever' Sectional finish and ended the team season on a down note. Pat Gaffney shined with an excellent 4th place(6th fastest boys time of Sectionals) that propelled him to the State Championship as individual qualifier.
Girls: The girls team slump continues, with poor performances by several key runners. Shannon Morris is an individual qualifier for the State Championship. Like the boys, the girls team ends the season with disappointing efforts.
